Nir (“we,” “us”) operates a text-message (SMS) program for its nail-care booking platform at nirnails.com. These terms explain what messages we send and how you control them.

What we send
Our messages are transactional and one-way — they are triggered by your own actions on Nir. They include: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, a message after your visit linking to a review or outcome page, and a link to the nail design you saved. If you are a salon owner or technician, you also receive notifications about your own bookings. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

How you opt in
Adding your mobile number when you book an appointment on nirnails.com is optional and is not required to book. If you add it, the booking form asks you to consent to appointment texts in a standalone “Text updates (optional)” notice directly beneath the phone field. Technicians and salon owners provide their number when creating a Nir account in order to receive booking notifications.
This SMS consent stands alone. It is separate from, and not a condition of, your booking, any purchase, our Terms of Service, or any other agreement. You can decline it and still book, and you can withdraw it anytime by replying STOP.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies and is recurring — it depends on your appointments and activity (for example, a confirmation when you book, a reminder before your appointment, and a follow-up after).
Section 4
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to the plan you have with your mobile carrier. Nir does not charge you for text messages.

How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving texts from Nir. After you send STOP, we will stop sending you SMS messages. You can opt back in at any time by booking again and providing your number.

Privacy & carriers
We do not sell your phone number or share it for third-party marketing. Your number is used only to deliver the service messages described above. See our Privacy Policy for details. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
